Since 1979 CMF orgainses Eliminatories in several towns in France, founding candidates of any age and any level.

From 1979 to 1986, CMF was divided in 2 sections : Piano and Singing.

But since then, the quickly increasing number of pianists candidates has forced the organiser committee to kee : the piano section only.

Eliminatory Audition Venues

Organised every second years - until 1990 - CMF has chosen a selection of cities divided over the national territory for eliminatories :

  • MARSEILLE
  • LYON
  • PARIS
  • STRASBOURG
  • PAU
  • NICE
  • NANTES

So as to get closer the candidates who live far from the major cities and to motivate the piano teachers who very often make a deserving work, CMF organises eliminatories in smaller places :

  • EMBRUN
  • THIERS
  • MENTON
  • VERTOU
  • ROCHEFORT
  • POMPIGNAN
  • SERRES-CASTET
  • CASTELNAUDARY
  • CAMBRAI
