Since 1979 CMF orgainses
Eliminatories in several towns in France, founding candidates of any age and
any level. From 1979 to 1986, CMF
was divided in 2 sections : Piano and Singing.
Organised every second
years - until 1990 - CMF has chosen a selection of towns divided over the
national territory for eliminatories : So as to get closer the
candidates living far from the main cities and stimulate the piano teachers
who very often make a deserving work, CMF organises eliminatories in smaller
places :
CMF's fame has very
quickly reached borders as well the pianists (English, Italians, Japaneses,
German, Greeks...), who have taken to the eliminatories and to the final. - ITALY (Gallicano - Asti) Added between 1996 and
1998 : - SPAIN (Girona) In 1999, eliminatories
extende to Eastern Europ : - LATVIA (Riga) The USA are part of the
program of 2001 including Boston which should welcome new candidates.
